The first Ethiopian Vegan Association established in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia April 25,2010

The first ever Ethiopian Vegan Association with the support of IFA was established in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on April 25, 2010. The association presently has 13 members and will be working very hard to promote Veganism in Ethiopia. The association again, with the help of IFA has already established contacts with the Nigerian Vegetarian Society, the Togolese Vegetarian Society and will soon be a member of the African Chapter of the International Vegetarian Society
